So of course, we had steak. To go with our new carving set of course!
Adapted from Food On The Table
1 1/2 lbs. steak (I used 6 - 4 oz. steaks)
1 onion, rough chopped
2 tbsp. sesame oil
2 tbsp. cooking sherry
2 tbsp. sugar
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. pepper
Mince garlic & mix all ingredients with the steak strips.Let marinate for 2 hours refrigerated or overnight. Pan fry or grill steaks until done.
Total calories = 1520 calories with all the marinade
6 servings = 253 calories per steak
