Banana Pancakes

The kids wanted pancakes. Big shock. I had a couple of mushy bananas so I threw them into the pancake batter. The kids loved them.

Then we cranked Jailhouse Rock and turned them into Elvis pancakes! With peanut butter chips. (Elvis was all about peanut butter and banana apparently).

The peanut butter chocolate chips were a complete hit and I was declared the best mom in the whole world. Of course.

  2. Yum! I personally am a huge fan of chocolate and or peanut butter in my pancakes. It is probably the best way to use a banana in my opinion.

  6. I made banana pancakes too, I haven't posted them yet, they're not as pretty as yours. I usually don't make pancakes or waffles. I like the idea of peanut butter chocolate chips! Yum!

  11. Oh my gosh - how cute! Our kids love pancakes too and I try to make them as healthy as I can using Kamut Wheat flour and I have to use an egg replacer due to allergies. I think I could do the banana thing though and they would love it! Thanks for sharing :) My blog is smilinggreenmom.com and it's all about green and healthy living if you would ever want to visit! I would love it - thanks again :)
